Louis Castonguay, professor of psychology at Penn State, recently received the 2017 Distinguished Research Award from the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR) at their annual meeting in Toronto. This award is granted in recognition of life time contributions to the scientific study of Psychotherapy.
In addition, James Boswell, Castonguay’s former graduate student advisee, and current assistant professor at University of Albany, received the Early Contribution Award.
