Purpose
The Geroscience and Dementia Prevention Consortium invites applications that will catalyze new research activities and build interdisciplinary teams to improve our understanding of the aging process and neurodegenerative diseases associated with growing older. The long-range goal of the consortium is to accelerate discoveries that will lead to the prevention or delay of cognitive impairment related to aging and Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias (ADRD). The Consortium seeks to fund activities to advance the science of aging in areas that build interdisciplinary partnerships and collaborations that integrate biological, psychosocial, and medical perspectives.
