JD Daw, assistant professor of sociology and demography, recieved Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts Roy Buck Award for his article “Explaining the Persistence of Health Disparities: Social Stratification and the Efficiency-Equity Trade-off in the Kidney Transplantation System”. The Roy Buck Award recognizes the best article accepted or published by a refereed scholarly journal in the social sciences within the last year. Daw will be recognized at the College awards luncheon later this spring.
