The Pennsylvania Deputy Secretary for Health Innovation, Dr. Lauren Hughes, is interested to meet with Penn State faculty in order to explore areas of common interest for collaborating on upcoming projects and federal grant applications. The Deputy Secretary is most interested in collaborating in the following areas:
- substance use
- behavioral health integration
- population health
- tele-health
- rural health
- workforce in rural areas

If you have interest in meeting with Dr. Hughes' team this semester on one of these topics, please contact Diane Pague at DPague@phs.psu.edu by Monday, January 23rd. We will then coordinate a meeting to be held at the College of Medicine to discuss these possible areas of common interest as well as relevant RFAs. While we expect this meeting to be approximately three hours in length, it would only be necessary for you to stay as long as needed to discuss your particular area of interest. This will be an open idea-generating session and no formal presentations will be required. You will also be able to attend remotely via Adobe Connect.
