The 24th Annual PRI Sponsored Demography Graduate Student Methods Workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday May 16th, from 8:30-12:15 in the Nittany Lion in Ballroom C. This year’s theme is "Mixed Methods", and we have an exciting lineup of speakers to share their knowledge and experiences applying both quantitative and qualitative methods to addressing important questions in demography. Mark those calendars!
Dr. Lisa Peace, an alum of Penn State’s Demography program and current Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Dr. Mario Small, Grafstein Family Professor of Sociology at Harvard will come in as our external speakers. Dr. Ashley Patterson, Assistant Professor of Curriculum and Instruction and Dr. Lynette Yarger, Associate Professor of Information Sciences and Technology will serve as our internal speakers.
A delicious lunch will be served following the workshop.
