"The Neighborhood Connectivity Survey (NCS): An Original Data Collection Project at PSU"
Abstract: The Neighborhood Connectivity Survey (NCS) is a household survey sponsored by the Knight Foundation whose overarching goal is to understand the geography of social ties and social support for households and individuals. The NCS survey instrument includes questions on the following topics: telecommunications, migration, travel, mobility, and locations of local and distant social support. It also includes demographics such as household size, race, education level, age, gender, marital status, political preference and employment status.
