The Institute for CyberScience is pleased to announce that the ICS Faculty Fellows Program is now accepting applications for 2012.
The ICS Faculty Fellows Program is designed to support ICS faculty in their development of interdisciplinary collaborations for cyber-enabled discovery and innovation. Competitive proposals will seek advances in topics such as data science and engineering, multiscale modeling and simulation and cyber-physical systems toward novel insights in a variety of problem areas. This award provides support for initiating new research collaborations that could lead to a program of significant research scholarship and competitive proposals to external agencies. The ICS Faculty Fellows Program will provide up to $25,000 over the course of one academic year to facilitate the faculty member's research activities. This is a competitive program and a total of 4-5 fellowship awards are available for 2012.
