Congress recently passed legislation to provide another round of coronavirus relief. The bill also included all FY 2021 appropriations bills to fund the federal government. The president is expected to sign the massive measure in the next few days. All told, the legislation totals more than 5,500 pages with approximately another 2,000 pages accompanying it. The full bill text can be found here and some of the accompanying materials can be found here under “Joint Explanatory Statement.”
In an effort to summarize key provisions of the bill that are of interest to the University, we have divided our materials in two buckets: Coronavirus Relief Summaries and FY 2021 Appropriations Summaries. Please note that in the coronavirus relief summaries there may be duplicate section numbers. That’s because the bill is divided into multiple divisions so if you are looking for the text of a specific section, you will just have to work through the find function a few times but we recommend searching by the name of section instead of the numbers as the names should match with the corresponding bill section.
