An assistant professor of biobehavioral health at Penn State, Amy Snipes spends months at a time with farmworker families, observing and recording their lives and concerns as she works alongside them in the field. Trained as an anthropologist, Snipes has built her career on the use of ethnography as a means for improving farmworker health.
